Minimi for 2 guitars by Gerard Cousins

my attempt at a sort of steve reich ‘electric counterpoint’ but for the much more practical number of players - ‘two’ not the twelve or so needed by reich. again, there is much freedom in this music, both structurally and within the improvisatory sections. i make much use of the ‘phasing’ technique again (as used in ‘clapping music’) - it’s great fun.  Enjoy!
